OUR "INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY"

At Cedars HOPE, community is the central theme to our daily lives.  We believe that women with mental illness are capable of maintaining their individuality and independence while living in community. We believe that their choice to live with others, to accept the support and camaraderie of others who understand their challenges and celebrate their successes, exhibits strength and commitment. The women that choose Cedars HOPE as their home have chosen to gain their independence through practicing the inter-dependence central to living in community. These women exercise their right to self-determination, self-exploration and personal growth surrounded by a caring support system.
